Comment after Conservative Quoted founding fathers

6 Aug

Lest we forget you are quoting men with exceptional talent an ability. I sure don’t disagree with the quotes and I find them inspirational.

We are not all born equal but in this country we are afforded freedoms not found elsewhere. “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence and considered by some [by whom?] as part of one of the most well crafted, influential sentences in the history of the English language. The phrase is meant to exemplify the “inalienable rights” with which all human beings are endowed by their creator and for the protection of which they institute governments. (wiki)

These “inalienable rights” in our society for those in need are carried out though entitlements – though the very word “entitlement” conjures up a negative perception of the word for most people, myself included. What’s the answer? Remove those breaking the law in order to receive the benefits. They are the virus in the entitlement programs and they need to be removed. The programs are fine, the people are not.
