Mind over what matters

6 Aug

We are all born with the ability to reason good from bad; but there is a bit a good in the worst of us and a bit of bad in the best of us. It’s how much honesty about ourselves we allow to flow from our minds to our hearts that makes the difference. Each time we alter reality to suite or allow our worldly desires a conflict is created within us, these conflicts continues to build unless reality is accepted for each and every instance reality has been altered to justify our desires  – which is not possible; we just do the best we can. We alter reality to match what we want for ourselves – selfishly. The humility needed to grasp even a fair amount reality about ourselves is quite elusive. “Me pity the heart that is slow to learn, what the quick mind sees at every turn”.
